Bronze Bell (In Progress)

This is the original design of the bell with runner system, designed in Autocad. Not seen in this photo is a second loop on the inside of the bell, which is where the clapper will be tied off to.

This is the printed pattern that will used to create the silicone casting mold. From there, that mold will be used to make a wax cast, which in turn will create the final investment mold. Once the final mold is created, the bell will be cast from bell bronze. Photos of this process will be added as they are completed, I am currently working with my school's foundry to finish this project.

She Kills Monsters Research (Prototyping)

This form of Cam mechanism forms the base of the prototype that I created

Demonstration of how the lower jaw operates. This can be operated as fast or slow as needed.

3D Printing Experimentation

My first design project is recreating some of these Job Icons from the game Final Fantasy 14. They are simple enough to not need very technical work but detailed enough to be a good exercise in modeling.

These two tokens serve as two test bases for the final products. The top token was the first test, turning out too thick with highly visible gaps. The second test turned out much better; thinner and with no gaps

Completed Projects
Moonbox

A completed Moonbox, designed to imitate the harvest moon

The Moonbox as it appears when in use

Flying Ghost

The inner frame of the flying ghost prop. I used chicken wire as for it's malleability and weight. During design, I placed the highest emphasis on being lightweight.

This is how the ghost appeared to the audience, as shown by the local news

Haunted Smelter Bridge

This is an in progress shot of the stingers that would be used for the stairs. The stinger in the front serves as the template for the others, traced directly on a length of 2x12.

The combined lighting effects between inside and outside that guests would experience during the show.

Smaller Projects

A steampunk call box, made to light up when the button is pressed with the switch in the correct position; made for a props class

Pajama pants, tailor fit to myself, crafted for a costume crafts class

Created from birch bark, twine, and recycled paper, displayed in the student art gallery. This was crafted for a design studio class
Presentations
Flying Ghost Presentation
I presented the Flying Ghost Project at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (Region 3). It was presented twice before two separate panels, and received an award from the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas.
